Hazrat Chaudhry Nasrullah Khan (ra) was born in 1863. He was the father of Hazrat Sir Chaudhry Zafrulla Khan (ra).
From the very beginning, he had good relations with the Jamaat, and in Sialkot, he would often attend the dars of Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim Sialkoti (ra).
When a case was filed against Maulvi Mubarak Ali, just for the sake of his Ahmadi faith, and Jamaat Sialkot appointed Hazrat Chaudhry Nasrullah Khan (ra) as a lawyer, he had to study the literature of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) in detail to follow the case and he was greatly impressed.
In 1904, Hazrat Chaudhry Nasrullah Khan (ra) served as a witness of Hazrat Ahmad (as), in the case of Karam Din of Jhelum. On that occasion, he was honoured for the first time to meet Hazrat Ahmad (as).
Finally, he pledged allegiance to Hazrat Ahmad (as) during his stay in Sialkot. While his wife was fortunate enough to pledge allegiance a few days prior as a result of a dream.
After that, a great spiritual revolution took place in Hazrat Chaudhry Nasrullah Khan (ra). He left his successfully running advocacy in 1917 and moved to Qadian.
Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), Khalifatul Masih II, appointed him as the Nazir-e-Ala, and also entrusted the duties of the Bahishti Maqbarah as well.
Hazrat Chaudhry Nasrullah Khan (ra) performed Hajj in 1924.
One of his scholarly achievements is that he prepared comprehensive indexes of many books of Hazrat Ahmad (as).
Hazrat Chaudhry Nasrullah Khan (ra) passed away on 2 September 1926.
Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), Khalifatul Masih II, was in Dalhousie at the time, but came to Qadian upon hearing the news of his demise, and led his funeral prayer. Huzoor (ra) also wrote a memorial to be inscribed on the headstone of his grave.
Whilst mentioning him, Huzoor (ra) said that Hazrat Chaudhry Nasrullah Khan (ra) was at the forefront in service to religion.
